It was pouring down rain in the morning of her big day. No need to stress Katie, we will just have the PARTEEEE in the basement! We have had three beautiful days the past three years for her birthday...don't sweat the small stuff because what does it matter in light of eternity right? Ok God! I wasn't worried or stressed a bit...went with the flow all day. About two hours before the party started, it stopped down pouring and somewhat cleared up. About the same time as it was clearing up, I am not kidding you, I passed by a Elmhurst garage sale (the ones I have been raving about) and found a BIG water slide for sale!!! I went home and told Jud to go check it out...and here it is, a Henry possession now for all of our summer birthdays!!! We got a great deal and couldn't believe that we got to use it an hour later at her Hello Kitty BASH!!!

I just know Ali had to be on top of the world on Saturday! It's so sweet once they can start getting really excited about their birthdays, I bet :) I agree about being thankful for our kiddos! They add so much to our lives! Love you guys...wishing you lived closer!
