The Henry Gang: Bahamas with the McDonalds…Day 1

What a privilege it was to spend a week with my Best buddy, Becky and her precious family! About a year ago we began planning one of the greatest adventures of my life thus far! Becky and Mike went on a 6 week road trip this summer with their 4 kids(pretty unbelievable hugh!!!) For part of the time, they stopped in the deep south, good ole Homestead:) While they were there, we just had to head to the island for a couple of days. Mike and Becky got engaged on Little Fowl Cay about 9 years ago! My lovely mom kept their youngest, Kara and also King-Man! What a joy that was to leave them behind. We packed up the 5 kids, loaded up the groceries, supplies, and precious cargo and headed across the Atlantic to the most unbelievable place in the whole world! God has blessed our family with such an incredibly special place and I was in awe of the beauty there! I hadn't been there in four years so it was a real TREAT to be there! We had an unbelievable time with the McDonald family and plan to make it a tradition in years to come!!!
