We spent most of our time at home for spring break enjoying the Shed Aquarium, movies, and a couple other local places but, we were able to escape for the last weekend and get away with friends. We headed to Grizzly Jack's at Starved Rock, Illinois. We had a great time with the VanderPlas family and it was a wonderful end to our time off from school.

They have a really fun indoor amusement park. The kids tried rock climbing, zip lining, a ropes course, a jumbo slide, and the bungee trampoline. What a riot!
So proud of them all for trying new things!
Avalene and Ali
The boys met us up there and were able to join in the fun for Friday and Saturday
Such a fun slide. Ali and Canyon tried the big tube slide as well and LOVED it!
On Saturday, we went hiking at Starved Rock (a state park in Illinois). What a beautiful site to see.
Great friends…fun times!
Boys will be boys:) They could have explored and done this all day long.
