Friday Night of Fun!

The time has FINALLY come when the midwest is beginning to brighten up, warm up, and liven up! I used to laugh at people in Chicago who would drive with the top down in their convertibles in 55 degree weather. I would brag and brag about how awesome Florida weather was and how cool I was to be a Florida Girl:) It has taken me 10 years to truly embrace the weather in this area. But, I am happy and thankful to say, I am blessed to live where I live. Yes, the weather STINKS 6 months out of the year but, the good days seem to far out weigh the bad ones. Chicago and its suburbs must be good for something because SOOO many people live here! I believe this to be very TRUE! The western suburbs of Chicago (Elmhurst being one of them) are beautiful, quaint, full of great people, and all around some of the best cities in the U.S. On Friday night Jud, the kids, and I went to Naperville (rated the 2nd best city to live in the U.S.) to eat, get ice cream, walk the boardwalk, and let the kids enjoy the spring weather. It was a lovely evening and we even got our ice cream for free:)
