Sunday May, 15th was MPS (Sanfilippo Syndrome) awareness day. As you know our dear friends, the Boyce Family, have two children with this disorder. I am also extremely blessed to now know the Hubert family who have a precious daughter Livia with MPS. These families mean so much to Jud and I and we are honored to walk beside them in this life as they navigate through the ups and downs of having children with this terminal illness. I say honored because these two families teach us so much about life, loving our children, and about the goodness of our God through such trying times!
On Sunday, we wore PURPLE to help raise awareness! MPS is a rare Genetic disorder that not many people know about! Because it is so rare, many call it an orphan disease. Jud and I were so encouraged by our church family when many people ASKED about the purple and then LISTENED to our story! God is GOOD and I do believe that he is going to continue to work MIRACLES in the lives of these precious people. I know that there are many of you who would love to get involved in something BIG! If you want to GIVE LOVE and support our precious friends, please visit their website, buildwiththeboyces.com, and take the PLEDGE!
