Kumpula's come to Chicago!

This past weekend, we were blessed to be able to visit with the Kumpula family over a meal at Buffalo Wild Wings. The Kumpula's are a dear family that we have known for years and share very special memories with! They moved to Ohio years ago and we do not get to see them often at all. When I first started volunteering at Immanuel Church in college, I met a precious little grade schooler, Mikey. I worked with the kids in the church and for a couple years he was a part of my small group. Of course we bonded with one another and spent time together in and out of church! To this day I can't help but call him Mikey even though he goes by Mike:) I also had the privilege of getting to know his older sister, Aly. She was one of the kids in our youth group that I really connected with! I remember the time I used the Kumpula's car and took a ton of girls out T Ping one night…Great memories! All this to say, Mike, Laura, Aly, Mikey, and Maddie hold a very special place in the Henry's hearts! We adore them and look forward to keeping in touch with them!
