My Little Helpers!

If you've seen my kitchen you know that it is NOT big.  Add three little helpers to it and it makes it even SMALLER:) I don't know about your kids but my kids LOVE to be all up in my grill!  Don't get me wrong, I love my children and love being around them but, there is not a day that goes by that they don't want to "help" their mama out.  Lately, I have been trying different strategies in order to involve them yet at the same time be able to get things done.  This day, I gave the kids a couple bowls and some flour to play with.  They love it and even though it is an absolute mess, it works! 

My friend Amanda used to be a Kindergarten teacher and has great ideas for interactive play!  The boys have really been enjoying these kinds of activities and it is another way to keep them busy while I fix dinner.  I don't know what these early evening hours look like in your house while you are trying to get dinner on the table but it sure can get ugly at the Henry house sometimes:)
