Service Time!

I am really trying to instill in my children a heart for serving and loving others!  This week, we were potting and decorating plants for Aliyana's teacher and bus driver and thought about adding one for our old Elmhurst neighbor.  Ms. Laurel was a single lady who lived next door to us in our old house with her elderly mother.  She became a friend of ours and we have tried our best to stay in touch with her overtime.  Today, we got to deliver the flowers to her and spend some time chatting and catching up.  She loved seeing the kids and the kids loved seeing her too (I think it helped that she gave them all a cup of root beer:)!
