Throughout her kindergarten year, Aliyana participated in a reading challenge with the end reward being a free ticket to Six Flags Great America. As the summer was nearing an end, I realized I hadn't used her free ticket yet. Thankfully we had a family offer us another free ticket so that we could bring Canyon along! Dearest Sarah came through yet again and offered to watch the King so that I could take the older kids by themselves. Boy am I THANKFUL that she did! The kids and I had such a great time together! The best part about it was seeing them try new things. Ali and Canyon were champs! To all of you who know my kids that are afraid of everything…they rode an upside down roller-coaster!!! Now that is a breakthrough!
Meeting "Tweety"
I honestly thought that this is where we would be the whole day…I was SHOCKED when they agreed to go on the coasters!
Ali and Becky (a friend and old neighbor) about to hit up the Whizzer
C.J. and I on the Whizzer
The "Demon"
I still can't believe they went on a ride that goes upside down!
I had to take this picture because Canyon looks so small…I never would have thought that a three year old could ride this crazy ride! I probably won't be taking him on this ride again for a while:) He was in shock the entire time! In the end he was so proud of himself but, poor buddy was so scared!
Ali and Becky on some of the kiddie rides
We waited in line to meet him!!
We had such a great time together!

How fun!! Too bad Jud didn't go too...the kids could've showed him up on the roller coasters! :) So proud of them for being brave!
